Vancouver Sun: Anthony Gismondi: B.C. wine of the week, wine to cellar and calendar items

Need a Thanksgiving dinner plan for 12 hungry diners? H2 Rotisserie & Bar and executive chef Kamal Silva open their fall culinary series Oct. 9 with a Thanksgiving-themed cooking lesson and dinner featuring a holiday spinach salad, roast turkey with all the fixings, and pumpkin chiffon pie.

H2’s expert chefs will teach attendees the basics of prepping a turkey with classic cranberry stuffing, gravy, maple yams, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and roasted brussels sprouts with bacon and Parmesan.

Class starts at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Class capacity is 12 people maximum, with a cost of $85 per person. Wine is extra.
